- Experiencing the Narrative Enneagram offers a unique and transformative opportunity to discover the power of the Enneagram and deepen your understanding of the nine types. We teach through the Narrative Tradition, which centers your own experiences and promotes a living exploration of the Enneagram by sharing on type panels, participating in small groups, and engaging in practices in a compassionate group environment.
- Throughout the course, you’ll learn the three crucial paths of personal development: psychological (the habits and patterns of type), spiritual (receptivity to something greater), and somatic (awareness of body sensations). Together, these areas provide an experiential learning opportunity to support greater understanding and compassion for yourself, others, and the world.
- Experiencing the Narrative Enneagram is the first of our four Foundational Courses and a prerequisite to join our Professional Certification Program. Whether you’re looking for personal development or want to use the Enneagram in your professional work, this is the perfect place to begin.
- Students will:
- • Deepen your understanding of yourself and others by exploring the worldview, motivations, habits, and patterns of the nine types
- • Learn how the Enneagram can support growth in your relationships, work, and spiritual life
- • Engage psychology, spirituality, and somatics to build greater capacity for self-awareness and explore a path to personal transformation
- • Bring the Enneagram to life through real people's experiences by witnessing expertly facilitated panel interviews and sharing your own story with a compassionate community
- Course includes:
- • 20+ hours of live teachings, practices, panels, and group work
- • Access to video recordings of the teachings to review online
- • 52-page PDF workbook and access to course slides
- • Helen Palmer meditation recordings for each of the nine types
- • Access to an interactive online community of Enneagram learners
- Prerequisites
- There are no prerequisites for this course. To best support your learning, we recommend you have an idea of your type before joining.
- Things to know
- • Attendance: If you have a scheduling conflict please contact the registrar. If you need to miss more than 2 hours, you will need to sign up for another training.
- • Scholarships may be available. Learn about scholarships and contact the registrar with questions.
- • ICF CCE credits are available for this course: $50 with course registration or $75 after the course starts.
- • Technical requirements: You will need a computer with internet access; headphones are optional but may be necessary.
