Overview
Join us for a 5-day intensive to engage the spiritual dimensions of the Enneagram through mindfulness, panel sharing, movement, and art to bring greater peace and freedom to your life.
- In Experiencing Spiritual Freedom we work on relaxing the automatic reactive contractions that separate mind and body from the Inner self. This provides greater access to the qualities of the open heart identified by traditional Enneagram teaching as the Virtues.
- We will engage in mindfulness practices, self-reflection, panel sharing, movement, art exercises, and more to experience the spiritual dimensions of the Enneagram that are outside the automatic patterns of our type. This will bring us greater peace and freedom in life, work, and relationships, as we deepen our capacity to be present to what is and receptive to what is greater.
- Through inquiry exercises, meditation practices, dialogue, and panel interviews you will:
- • Discover practical ways to work through the automatic reactions of your type and relax the contraction that occurs when you become reactive
- • Explore the open-hearted qualities of the virtues, including Serenity, Humility, Honesty, Equanimity, Nonattachment, Courage, Constancy, Innocence, and Right Action
- • Experience more receptivity and responsiveness to the Holy Ideas of Love, Faith, and Hope as well as that of your Type
- • Open more easily and frequently to the grace, presence, and joy in your life
- With a strengthened inner observer and a more integrated body-mind, we awaken the capacity to experience the essence of the qualities known in the Enneagram work as the Holy Ideas (or Greater Knowing) and Virtues (or Qualities of the Open Heart).
- We welcome and encourage all spiritual backgrounds, perspectives, and identifications.
- Prerequisites
- This offering is open to anyone who knows their Enneagram type and has completed Experiencing the Narrative Enneagram or a similar course through another Enneagram organization that explores the nine types and their motivations.
- Course includes:
- 5 days + 4 nights at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona
- Printed and PDF versions of the Experiencing Spiritual Freedom Workbook
- Access to an interactive online community of Enneagram learners to stay connected after the intensive
- Things to know
- Check in is at 3pm on April 3 and check out is at 12pm on April 7
- Meals include dinner on April 3 through lunch on April 7
- ICF CCE credits are not available
