Deepening Spiritual Awareness

Deepening Spiritual Awareness focuses on your Enneagram type’s potential for higher levels of consciousness. Our format blends somatic practice rooted in grounded presence with contemplative methods for emptying and focusing the mind. These practices, experienced in community, build an inner capacity to recognize and relax emotional passions as they arise. We learn to convert our “vice to virtue” and we experience the purity of the life force that sustains us.

We welcome and encourage all spiritual backgrounds and identifications.

Students will:

• Work with the Enneagram and integration of spiritual, psychological and somatic practices for spiritual evolution.
• Explore the transformative potential of type structure by working with the vices (passions) and virtues of each type.
• Explore barriers to the state of receptivity.
• Learn spiritual and somatic methods to reduce type suffering.
• Be introduced to three fundamental practices:
• Self-observation – (Self-witnessing)
• Mindfulness – (The way of Negation)
• Object contemplation – (The Affirmative way)

Attendance: If you have a scheduling conflict please contact the Registrar. If you need to miss more than 2 hours, you will need to sign up for another training.

Credits: There are no CCE credits available at this time.

Scholarships: Scholarships may be available. Please contact the Registrar.

Technical Requirements: You will need a computer with internet access to participate in this program. Headphones are optional, but may be necessary.
