Community Gathering: IFS Meets the Enneagram

Overview
Join us for our Third Thursday Community Gathering as we explore how the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy model can help strengthen our capacities to observe and soften the impact of our Enneagram type’s automatic pattern in our daily lives.
Would you like to discover new techniques to answer the question, “Now that I know my type pattern, what do I do next?” During the one-hour gathering on Zoom with Joan Ryan and Evangeline Welch, we’ll experiment with the IFS model of locating and communicating with our IFS-defined “Parts” and the concept of “Self.” Using the Enneagram’s defined focus of attention (mental habits) of the nine type patterns as our guide, we will practice how to apply IFS concepts toward our own growth.
A free benefit to all Narrative Enneagram members, our monthly community gatherings offer a meaningful experience of learning and practice, breakout sessions, and engaging conversations. Nonmembers may pay $25 to attend a single gathering, or become a member for $75 to attend all year and enjoy other member benefits.
Our April 17 gathering also gives a preview of Joan Ryan’s one-day professional development training for certified Narrative Enneagram teachers and practitioners scheduled for April 26, 2025, where participants will dive more deeply into the unique experience of combining IFS with the Enneagram in our move toward wholeness and work with clients.
