Over the past 15 years, Polly was also a generous mentor to many certifying students in the Enneagram Professional Training Program, and supported the Scholarship Fund with her participation on the Scholarship Committee and quiet financial support. In honor of her service to our community and love of the Narrative Enneagram, TNE is setting up a Scholarship Fund in her name to help continue to support individuals who cannot afford to pay for the full cost of our Narrative Enneagram Curriculum. She will be remembered by many for her energetic and creative spirit and her love of the Enneagram.
We miss you, Polly.

I met Polly at the Enneagram Intensive in Menlo Park in January 2005. She was completing her teacher certification. I had just been hired to do marketing for the Enneagram Professional Training Program and was attending my first training. We both lived in Marin County, CA, so I was fortunate to witness her create a vibrant community of Enneagram seekers attending monthly Enneagram panel evenings in her home. She asked me several times to be a Type 4 representative on her panels. Polly was a very gifted teacher, modeling heartful presence with integrity, insight and humor.

I did not know Polly well but her warm presence in our few encounters was touching. What I know most about her is what the interns and students she worked with share…how much they appreciated her mentoring, her care, her generosity and wisdom. We have surely lost a lovely soul and I will miss her in our Narrative community. Polly, may you be free. You will not be forgotten. Thank you for all you gave.

Polly was such a beautiful human being, she was a bright light with a big generosity of spirit… Deeply committed to her family and grateful for the Enneagram, Polly continued with her work on self – her daily practice awareness was in moving from Critical mind, to Curious mind, to Loving mind. Her legacy carries on – she made a huge contribution to SF Bay Area Enneagram Enthusiasts with her curiosity and creative panel teaching.
Her husband Randy said she passed after a beautiful, peaceful journey bathed and received in a resonance of love. He and their three sons held a moving Celebration of Life for Polly in which we sang Amazing Grace at the opening, and then bid a fond farewell with Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, accompanied by her loving family and the extensive community she has touched. Love is the Light!

The first time I met Polly was in August 2015 during my 6 months stay in the Bay Area in Fairfax. Pat O’ mentioned her name and we met for coffee. From moment One it felt like we had known each other for decades. She motivated me to a lot of things. Her Enneagram Study Group was a personal breakthrough to me in many ways.
I am deeply move by her passing and sad.
